The Community Partnership Program (PKM) Team from the Digital Business Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Makassar State University (UNM), held a training session on the creation of Websites, Online Databases, and a Profile for Bontonompo Village, Gowa Regency, on Tuesday (18/7). This event was a combination of two PKM activities carried out by the UNM Digital Business Study Program in Bontonompo Village, Gowa Regency. The activity involved 20 participants who are village officials in Bontonompo Village.

The PKM activity began with remarks from the Head of Bontonompo Village (Lurah), who officially opened the training session. Syarifuddin, the Head of Bontonompo Village, emphasized the importance of utilizing information technology in providing services to the community. According to him, this activity is highly beneficial for Bontonompo Village in presenting online services in the current technological era.

The next segment was a presentation by the Head of the UNM Digital Business Study Program, Syamsu Alam, S.Si., M.Si., concerning the importance of digitalization, especially at the village level, and the potential areas in Bontonompo Village that can be digitized. The session continued with a presentation on website development and a practical session on creating a website and an online database. The output of this PKM is the creation of a village profile website that can serve as a medium for communication, information, and online services for the residents of Bontonompo Village.
